Job seekers should expect employers to Google them to get a more complete picture. Job seekers should consider updating their LinkedIn profile and sharing relevant content to improve visibility.

Networking has increasingly moved online. Virtual networking events, webinars, and online professional groups offer chances to connect with industry peers. Social media platforms, especially LinkedIn, provide job seekers with a space to interact with company representatives and industry leaders, which can open doors to job opportunities.
