Description
:
Directs and participates in the provision of various technical advisory services within the Maintenance Department on all aspects of maintenance, repair, troubleshooting and modification jobs on rotating equipment at the division. Reviews equipment performance to ascertain status, performs reliability/availability analysis as well as the implementation of recommended optimum methods to deal with chronic problems. Provides specialized technical guidance and support to field engineers & supervisors in developing and updating of predictive/preventive maintenance programs and ensures their implementation. Supports major expansion projects including reviewing of design basis and scope prior to detailed engineering. Develops strategies to update/replace equipment and systems that are obsolete and old. Conducts HSE audits and evaluate systems and procedures from HSE perspective.
